The entry of Kamax, a renowned international brand, into the Malaysian market this year is set to spice up the local motorcycle competition. Kamax, a motorcycle brand distributed by KTNS Holdings Sdn Bhd, has achieved great success in design, R&D, and global production. It was introduced in Malaysia with the launch of the Super Pro 125 model.
This moped motorcycle boasts a variety of advanced specifications paired with a classic design. Available in three color options – Army Green, Matte Black, and a special edition Green – the Super Pro 125 delivers a striking appearance that complements any rider on the road. Priced at a competitive RM8,888 (excluding tax and insurance), the Kamax Super Pro 125 is now available at authorized KTNS dealers nationwide.
The bike is powered by a single-cylinder, 4-stroke BOSCH EFI engine with an air-cooling system and a bore and stroke of Ø52.4mm x 57.8mm. With a displacement of 125cc, the Super Pro 125 generates a maximum power of 6.3kW at 7,500rpm and maximum torque of 9.3Nm at 5,000rpm, with a compression ratio of 9.56:1.
The Super Pro 125 is equipped with ABS on the front brake, enhancing riding efficiency, especially on slippery roads. Its front suspension features a hydraulic telescopic fork, ensuring added stability for a smooth ride.
Unlike typical moped motorcycles, the Super Pro 125 comes with a smart key system, offering convenience and enhanced security. The LCD display panel provides modern functionality while maintaining a retro vibe, especially with its classic-style headlamp.
Additionally, the model includes a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) that keeps riders aware of tire pressure, contributing to improved safety on the road.
One unique feature is the side storage compartment, which can be easily accessed by pressing a button under the seat. The 3.8-liter fuel tank allows for quicker, more efficient refueling, making it ideal for daily commuting.
Kamax Super Pro 125 also equipped with the EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) system, ensuring higher performance and fuel efficiency with optimized combustion.
The splash lubrication system used in the bike ensures oil is dispersed throughout the engine to reduce friction, allowing the engine to run smoothly and preventing premature wear.
Weighing just 110kg, the Super Pro 125 is easy to maneuver. The overall dimensions are 1,915mm in length, 720mm in width, and 1,010mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1,245mm and a seat height of 760mm, making it a comfortable and versatile ride for everyday use.
